How can I ensure my Lipstick is long lasting?

  • The key to Lipstick staying power is the preparation.  Start by exfoliating the lips using a flannel or soft toothbrush.  Apply a slick of lip balm before applying your JvG Lipstick.
  • JvG Lipsticks are particularly long lasting due to the high beeswax content.

The images Lipsticks can create depend on the colour that you choose.

Pale shades leave the colour emphasis to the eyes which can give a very youthful appearance.

Deeper and vibrant Lipstick shades contrast with the skin and need a very precise lip pencil application but give a sophisticated result.

The final look can be enhanced with a matching nail polish.

Select a lip pencil and Lipstick to complement the colour theme of the make-up.

Outline the lips with the lip pencil following the natural contours of the mouth. Fill in the outline with your chosen Lipstick shade, either directly from the stick, or for a more precise application, using a lip brush. Concentrate most of the colour in towards the centre and gently blend the colour up to the lip line.

For a fuller lip look – Fill in the lips with a pencil, working from the corners of the mouth to the centre. Apply a dab of light coloured gloss to the fullest part of the lower lip.

For mature lips – Draw small vertical lines with a lip pencil onto the lips prior to applying the lipstick to achieve a smoother finish.
