Where should I store my Eyeshadow Magnets?

  • Eyeshadow Magnets are designed for use within JvG Magnetic Compacts.  The compacts allow you to purchase a series of eyeshadows to be stored together, complete with an applicator.

John van G Eyeshadows are available in a wide range of colours to suit any skin tone.

Rich, golden tones are generally used for drawing attention to the eye area.

To correct eyes which are deep set

Use a pale shadow over the lid and blend the colour upwards. Use a darker colour such as brown, taupe or grey on the socket line. Concentrate a lighter highlighter just under the brows to draw attention upwards. Avoid dark coloured eye pencils which will make the eyes look deeper set. Use a coloured mascara to open them up.

To correct eyes which are small

Coat the lids and brow bones with a soft shade to add light and use a deeper shade on the socket line, blending so that it fades upwards towards the brow bone. Use an eye pencil on the outer corners of the upper and lower lids, slightly extending the natural eye line outwards to lengthen their appearance. Use a coloured mascara to make the eyes look even bigger.

To correct eyes which are close set

Emphasise the space over the bridge of the nose by widening the inner corner of the eye with a light tone of eyeshadow. Use a mid-toned eyeshadow on the centre of the eye and create definition with a dark shade on the outer edge of the eye, gently blending upwards to give a lifted effect making the eyes look wider apart. Eye pencil should be smudged along the lower lashes finishing in the centre.

To correct eyes which are wide apart

This is a reversal of the application used for close set eyes. Blend a deeper but gentle toned eyeshadow into the inner corner of the eye. Use a mid toned shade in the centre of the eye and fade to a lighter shade on the outer edge of the eye. The eye pencil colour should be soft and not applied too close to the nose.
